Foundations: Understanding Who God Is

Cost: $15.00 per person

Understanding God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit can be confusing, but our view of God directly impacts how we relate to him. We’ll expand our understanding of God by focusing on the heart of the Father, the life and death of the Son, and the empowering role of the Holy Spirit. Join us for Foundations, a three-week class all about Understanding Who God Is. This course will meet on Wednesday, October 9, 16 and 23 at North Point Community Church from 7:00pm-8:30pm. The cost is $15 which includes snacks and refreshments and will be collected at time of booking. [Foundations is a series of six short-term group experiences where adults can learn the essentials of following Jesus as they build and own a faith of their own.]

Marriage Growth Groups | Tuesdays | 6:30 p.m.

Thrive is for any married couple who wants to improve their relationship—from those who have a great marriage and want to keep it great to those who are struggling and can’t seem to get back on track. This mentor-led group experience will cover topics such as communication, conflict, forgiveness, and the impact your past can have on your marriage. Whether you are a newlywed, have been married for a while, or have been married more than once, every marriage has room to grow! This eight-week group will be led by Kirby and Jennifer Wisler and will meet on Tuesdays, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the church. NPYA Solitude Course

Cost: $10.00

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s more difficult than ever to live like Jesus lived. That’s why this fall, we’re continuing to partner with Practicing the Way with a Solitude Course. These courses are specifically built to help us arrange our lives around following Jesus. Each one will last a total of four weeks and will meet in the Gallery on Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m. The Solitude Practice Course Meeting Dates: October 1, 8, 15, 22. Each course will only hold 40 people, so we ask that you commit to being present for at least three out of the four meetings before registering. Coffee and light snacks will be provided. A $10 course fee will be collected at time of registration.

This eight-week group study, Fighting Shadows, is for men at any stage of life. It will dive into God’s vision for true masculinity inspired by the book Fighting Shadows by Jefferson Bethke and Jon Tyson. In a world that distorts or dismisses manhood, this study tackles seven lies holding men back—loneliness, lust, apathy, distraction, shame, passivity, and escapism. Participants will gain the tools to overcome these challenges, embrace their God-given strengths, and step confidently into their purpose.
