Navigating the Holidays - A Three-Week Group for Separation and Divorce

Cost: $15.00

Find support and understanding during the holidays. Join our short-term group, Navigating the Holidays, to help you navigate the emotional complexities of separation and divorce. We'll discuss topics like managing emotions, effective co-parenting, and building resilience. We’ll meet on Thursday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on November 21, December 5, and December 12. Even if you can't make it to every session, we really encourage you to join us whenever your schedule allows! Impact | Adults with Special Needs | Impact is a Bible Study Group offered by Woodstock City Church to mildly intellectually impaired special needs adults age 21 and over. The program is designed to introduce, grow, and strengthen a relationship with Jesus Christ. The group meets on Wednesday nights from 6-8. All group members must be able to participate and attend independently without additional support and be able to commit to attending weekly meetings.

Parents of kids struggling with mental health | "Stronger Together" is a connection group for parents of children with mental health challenges that will allow parents to connect, build relationships with other parents, and receive helpful content. This group meets on the second Sunday of each month at Woodstock City Church and is designed for parents only to attend. Woodstock City Fostering Together Connection Group | 9am Course

"Navigating Our Schools" is a special class for parents who are receiving support through our Fostering Together community. Woodstock City Fostering Together is partnering with local school district experts to bring our Fostering Together community information that can help support you as a parent to children of all ages, preschool through 12th grade. This is a five-week series with each class lasting one hour and fifteen minutes, meeting in Starting Point Room 107. November 3: Lori Moore, RTI and Canvas/Teacher; November 10: Izell McGruder, English as a Second Language (ESOL) Supervisor; November 17: Jenny Douglas, Elementary Principal; December 8: Kerry Kiefer, Special Education Overview/Retired Behavior Specialist; December 15: Whitney Morberg, High School Graduation Opportunities/Counselor
